We produce biomethane from sewage sludge.

LIFE Nimbus

LIFE NIMBUS is a European project cofinanced by the LIFE programme, which aims to promote the circular economy by generating biomethane from sewage sludge and powertoenergy technologies to-gas, using it as a sustainable fuel for urban public transport.
Thanks to the LIFE NIMBUS project, the biological methanation of 4Nm3/h biogas to biomethane will be achieved for a TMB bus to travel 48,000 km/year with renewable fuel. This will mean a reduction of more than 85% of the carbon footprint associated with this bus by the use of biomethane. In addition, biological methanation increases the energy obtained from biogas by up to 70%.
Duration: September 2020 - November 2023
